Why should I use a Travel Adviser instead of just researching & booking myself?
You can absolutely research & book your own travel. But with so many options available, knowing what's truly worth your time & money can be overwhelming.
We take the guesswork out of planning, by creating personalised holidays that reflect your travel style, using our expertise & trusted global partners to recommend the best destinations, accommodation & experiences. We save you hours of research & ensure every detail is taken care of.
Most importantly, we're here before, during & after your trip. If your plans change or you need assistance while you're away, you'll have a dedicated team in your corner. And along the way, we'll be your travel cheerleaders, sharing in your excitement & helping you create memories you'll treasure for years to come.
Do you charge a planning fee?
Depending on the flexibility of your trip, a professional planning fee may apply. This covers the time & expertise of a travel professional to research, design & manage all of your travel requirements & of course the support throughout your trip. We will discuss fees during our consultation, so you can make an informed decision.
What services can I book through you?
Our services cover so much
What destinations do you specialise in?
We aren’t limited by only specialising in certain destinations. We both love & have travelled to different places over the years (& the bucket list gets bigger not smaller lol). However we value our own knowledge & expertise & continue to learn more about different countries all the time, through industry tourism boards & partnerships with travel suppliers, we only work with trusted & vetted suppliers throughout the world
We have completed some specialised destination training on countries we love & that our typical clients love to travel to & you can see these specialist badges at the bottom of the website :)
Countries we have travelled to include - New Zealand, Canada, Alaska, Africa, South East Asia, Fiji, Vanuatu, UK, Mainland Europe, Malta, travel throughout Australia…
What is a luxury holiday & can I afford it?
Luxury is subjective & means something different to everyone. For some it's a private villa with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. For others it's flying Business class or staying in a castle, or simply enjoying a stress free holiday where every detail is taken care of.
Luxury isn’t always about spending more, it’s about investing in the experiences that matter the most to you.
You would be surprised by what’s possible within your budget. Let’s chat about what luxury means to you & how we can make that happen.
Do I need travel insurance or can I just use my credit cards insurance policy?
Some credit cards include complimentary travel insurance, but the level of cover can vary significantly. It can depend on whether you meet certain eligibility requirements & there may be limits on medical cover, lost baggage, cancelled arrangements etc.
If you’re unsure its always best to ask us & we can talk you through the best options for your trip.
What if we don’t like the first itinerary or quote?
Our goal is to create the perfect trip that is curated for you & your travel companions, whatever their age or physical ability or desires. We will work together & tailor the arrangements until it's just right. That may mean creating a private tour based on a tour you’ve seen but you want to make a few small changes to dates or stay longer in certain locations. It is your holiday so it has to be right for you.
When is a good time to travel where we want to go?
Answer the question but have a link to a lead magnet with a list of destinations & when is good to travel there - seasons, months, dry or wet seasons, pros & cons.
Can you help us with airline points & how best to utilise these?
Through our experience & knowledge from our airline partners we can work through the best way to use your points balance or maybe even save them for a flight & maximise their value in the future.
We’re planning a multi-generational trip, but we don’t know where to start.
There are some great options for destinations & types of travel, with different pace levels to suit everyone's physical capabilities, that will suit the whole family.
When is a good time to book our honeymoon?
Ideally 9-12 months is usually a good time to start booking your honeymoon. The days of a 2 year long engagement are behind us & it’s very common that couples are planning short lead weddings. However the more time you have for planning the better your chances of better prices for flights & being able to book your favourite accommodation.
Can we get upgrades or special extras if we are on our honeymoon?
Many hotels love celebrating honeymooners. While upgrades are never guaranteed, we work with preferred partners wherever possible to help secure added value and special touches
We don’t know where we want to go? Can you help us narrow down some great options?
This is where we shine, we will take the time with you to work through what you love (or don’t love) about travel & what types of experiences you enjoy. And ultimately what's most important for this particular trip. And wherever you don’t go on this trip, we can help you book that in for next time :)
Our wedding planning is already quite stressful. How much of the honeymoon do we need to organise ourselves?
We can be as involved in your honeymoon plans as you need us to be, from arranging all your international & local flights, all of your land based travel (airport pick-ups, drop-offs, trains, buses etc), accommodation, dinner reservations & local attractions etc.
If your wedding planning is keeping you up at night Kiri is also a professional wedding planner & will happily step in & take that off your plate, so you can actually enjoy your engagement. Check out www.darlingdontpanic.com for more information xx
Can you arrange travel for people attending my wedding?
We sure can, often its easier & more cost effective to organise group rates for your guests, with accommodation, transfers etc.
Can you arrange pre or post wedding tours, experiences for my wedding guests?
Planning pre or post wedding experiences, day trips or dining is sometimes the best part of your wedding & adds to the whole experience. And your guests will have the best memories of your wedding. Talk to us about airport transfers, winery tours or local attractions & great dining options in the area.
We don’t want to go on our ‘big’ honeymoon trip straight after the wedding, but we want to do something small & special.
You’ve often got family & friends coming from all over for your wedding & you don’t want to feel like you have no time to enjoy their company because you have a long haul flight to catch & luggage to pack. Having a more local ‘mini-moon’ is the perfect solution. You can go somewhere in your own state or travel interstate for a long weekend or even just a staycation in your city & pretend to be tourists. We can help you work through all of the arrangements & then look at your bigger plans a bit later down the track.
